- The reception area is on the second floor of the jail lobby.
- After 10:00pm the lobby is locked — use the intercom at the main jail entrance.
How long release takes
Expect two to six hours between bail being posted and release, depending on the day, the hour and how many other releases are queued. People leave through the glass door at the north-east corner of the jail and Sheriff’s Office entrance, immediately behind the county courthouse.
What we need from you
You do not need any of this to ring us — we can start with a name. It just makes the call shorter.
- The full name of the person in custody, and their date of birth if you have it.
- Which facility is holding them.
- The bail amount, if it has been set. If it has not, we will find out.
- Proof of income for whoever is signing — a job is the credit check.
- Photo ID for the signer.
